Privacy Policy — ChatFlow Elite
Last updated: March 2026 (v10.6.3)
Summary
- ChatFlow Elite does not sell personal data and has no proprietary servers.
- Most data is stored locally on your device using
chrome.storage.local.
- Optional integrations (Gemini / Telegram Bot / Google Apps Script) only send data when you enable them and provide your own keys/tokens/webhooks.
1) What Data the Extension Stores (On Your Device)
ChatFlow Elite stores the following locally on your device to provide its features:
- Canned responses you create (categories, titles, text, keywords/tags).
- Extension settings (theme, language, feature toggles, supported sites enable/disable).
- Activity metrics (reply usage counts and timestamps for your dashboard).
- Team configuration (team ID, role, and webhook URL if you join a team).
- API keys/tokens you provide for optional integrations (e.g., Gemini, Telegram Bot).
Local Tab Activity (Dashboard Feature)
If the dashboard features are used, the extension may store tab/activity metadata locally to power time/usage views. This is stored on your device only and is not sent to ChatFlow Elite servers (we have none).
- Examples of metadata: visited URL/domain, tab title, and time spent.
- You can clear this data anytime by clearing the extension's site data in Chrome.
2) What We Do NOT Do
- We do not sell your data.
- We do not operate proprietary analytics, tracking pixels, or third‑party SDK trackers.
- We do not transmit your full conversation history to ChatFlow Elite servers (we have no servers).
3) Optional Third‑Party Integrations (Enabled by You)
ChatFlow Elite can connect to third‑party services only if you enable these features and provide your own credentials:
- Google Gemini AI: When you use AI features, selected message text/context is sent to Gemini using your API key. Subject to Google Privacy Policy.
- Telegram Bot: If enabled, alerts/reports are sent using your bot token to your specified chat ID. Subject to Telegram Privacy Policy.
- Google Apps Script / Google Sheets: Team sync and/or activity logging can be sent to your own Apps Script endpoint that you control.
4) Data Storage
Data is stored using Chrome's storage APIs:
chrome.storage.local — local storage on your device (main storage).
chrome.storage.sync — not used. This extension stores data locally only.
5) Permissions Justification
- storage: Save your responses, settings, and dashboard metrics.
- tabs: Detect supported sites, enable the right features, and support optional dashboard tab activity views.
- notifications: Display alerts (e.g., SLA notifications or new message alerts).
- Host permissions (e.g., app.manychat.com, web.telegram.org, web.whatsapp.com, instagram.com): Required to inject UI into supported sites and enable automation features.
6) Changes to This Policy
If we update this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date above.
